We are raising funds for the kids at the All As One Children's Center in Sierra Leone!
- One in five children in Sierra Leone will die before reaching age five.
- 57% of kids in Sierra Leone will never learn to read.
- 340,000 kids in Sierra Leone are without parents.
All As One is the last chance for many of the most vulnerable children in Sierra Leone. They provide love, a home, three meals a day, an on-site accredited school, health care, counseling, and, most of all, a family. Since the year 2000, their targeted interventions have provided essential basic needs and helped save the lives of over 35,000 kids. The children now have unlimited potential to positively change their country and the world.
[And, because ALL of their staff are volunteers, except for the caregivers in Sierra Leone, we can know that our donations actually go directly toward helping the kids.]
In developing countries, such as Sierra Leone, even just a few U.S. dollars can result in a month’s worth of meals for a starving child, much-needed medical attention and improved schooling. For example...
- $5 provides one child with pencils, chalk, paper & other school supplies.
- $10 provides one child with a new set of clothing or shoes.
- $15 provides one children with preventative medical care for a month.
- $30 provides one child with daily lunch for a month.
- $40 provides one child with an accredited primary school education for a month.
- $50 provides one child with daily breakfast and lunch for a month.
- $80 provides one child with daily lunch and a primary school education for a month.
- $85 provides one child with three meals a day for a month.
- $100 provides two children with daily breakfast for a month.
- $170 provides two children with three meals a day for a month.
- $240 provides three children with daily lunch and a primary school education for a month.
- $300 provides high school fees for one child per term.
